Cookie Policy

Last revised: 3 June 2026

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists what learnworks.pro stores, why, and how you stay in control. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What we store

Strictly necessary

  • PHP session cookie — keeps your enquiry form secure (it carries the anti-forgery token). Created only when you open a page containing a form and deleted when the browser closes.
  • lw_cc_choice — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the banner does not reappear on every visit. Stored in your browser's local storage; it stays until you clear site data.

Analytics

If you press "Accept" on the cookie banner, we may enable privacy-respecting page-view counting to learn which guides students actually read. This measurement is aggregate — it does not identify you, follow you to other websites, or feed advertising networks. If you press "Reject", no analytics run at all and every page still works fully.

What we deliberately avoid

No advertising cookies, no social-media trackers, no cross-site profiling, no fingerprinting. Guidance you can trust starts with a website that isn't watching you.

Changing your mind

A small round cookie button sits in the lower-left corner of every page after you make a choice. Click it anytime to reopen the banner and choose again. You can also clear cookies through your browser:

  • Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Cookies and other site data → See all site data → search "learnworks".
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Manage Data.
